The painting is inspired by the reliefs of Achaemenid soldiers on the walls of Persepolis in Shiraz.
"I'm an award-winning multidisciplinary artist who grew up in Shiraz, Iran and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 14. My body of work explores concepts of love, sexuality and identity and is inspired by nature, the human body, sensuality, and positivity. My family, like many others were persecuted and directly effected by the Iranian regime's unjust cruelty so when the latest movement started, I passionately wanted to contribute to the cause and raise awareness." -Ghazaleh
